Just skip over this because it's a rant If I do not already have a license at eighteen because I couldn't pay for insurance, what makes you think I have A) a job, B) Bills in my name, C) A bank statement. GUUUH. In other news I have to wait longer to get my permit and state ID because I just.. ugh. It said right there in the booklet that letters were allowed to the address! It said nothing about the fact that they couldn't be handwritten or from relatives. Nothing. I've spent the past week studying that goddamn booklet and NOTHING back there says it can not be a personal letter. Things just irritate me. At least the DMV lady was nice.. a

This journal is long overdue, but I suppose it had to come eventually. Since I spoke with you journal fiends last, I've graduated high school and officially moved out of the state of Louisiana and into the Chicago area with my grandmother after much pitter pattering about with it. This is mostly due to the recent death of my grandfather, her husband. He'd asked me if I'd stay with her and I said yes, of course. This was long coming, and, like the last death I reported here, is from cancer. He had stage four colon cancer for nearly four years now and in early June his liver shut down. Now, shutting down of the liver is not an immediate death-

Due to some issues with the deed to our house, and  being unable to pay mortgage because my dad has no job, we're going to have word by Tuesday whether we're packing up to go.. .... somewhere or not. Quite frankly I don't know where we'd go. We have no place to go just yet... and I don't think we have money for a trip to Illinois.  We might. but no idea.
